Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd was 14 when she began to train in the combat sports. She began training in kickboxing boxing wrestling, and BJJ. She made her debut as an amateur at the age of 18 at WCFC against Jaimee Nievera. Ladd gained momentum from this victory and then went on to a three-fight winning streak at Ultimate Reno Combat finishing her opponents inside the first round of all fights. She returned to WCFC and defeated Leslie Rodriguez through a unanimous decision. Aspen defeated Silvia B beghian as well as Maddy Simmons prior to facing Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia gave Aspen the win in a single-handed manner and was able to outclass her, tarnishing Ladd's amateur career. Ladd beat Roma Pawelek on Tuff n Uff to improve her record for amateurs to 8-1. Aspen turned professional in 2015, and was signed by Invicta FC to make her professional debut. Invicta 11, she was able to take on Ana Carolina Vidal to score an KO early in the round. Invicta Combat Championships 16, She took her next bout with Amanda Cooper through a second-round submission via armbar. Aspen used the superior techniques she learned from wrestling to defeat McGill. Aspen ended her fight via an KO (3rd round) (elbows, punches). Aspen then fought Jessica Hoy in Invicta FC 18, at the catchweight (138.1lb) As Ladd had missed weight. In spite of this, Aspen was able to dominate Hoy. Aspen won her fight with a TKO after the second round. Invicta FC 28 was her last bout for the organization. Invicta FC 22 saw Sijara Eubanks defeated by unanimity. Aspen Ladd was the first UFC fighter to debut. She fought Linalansberg at UFC Fight Night 118. She dominated Lina by pound-for-pound, and took the TKO round at the end of the 2nd. Her dominance grew and she won a much more convincing victory during her next fight against Tonya Evinger. UFC 229 Ladd beat Evinger to the punch in the opening round, she was awarded a Bonus Performance of the Night. Invicta FC fighter Sijara Eugenes in a UFC Fight Night dos Anjos-Lee rematch with Sijara's Eubanks, was the first match she's ever had in any significant role. Both the fighters put on a back-and-forth encounter that ended with Ladd taking a unanimous win and both fighters receiving the Fight of the Night bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie defeated Ladd within 16-seconds, ending her winning streak. Yana Knitskaya was defeated in UFC 7 ESPN 7's third round, lost to Randamie. As a replacement, she fought Norma Dumont in her most recent UFC fight. It was a unanimous decision against her.
