Anne Phung Nguyen

Anne Phung Nguyen is my name. I'm Vietnamese American Entrepreneur living in Orange County California. My amazing wife JP and my fun-loving Dad Henry are also part of our extended family. Most people are familiar with me from my Instagram @annephung, where I write about my experiences - highs, lows and everything that in-between. My parents took me to America in 1990, at the time I was a mere one and a half years young. I would not be sharing my story now if my parents didn't work to the max and sacrifice. As I knew I could achieve a better future I set out to achieve my goals and make my parents proud. I believed my life would go the same way as I graduated from university, be offered an employment opportunity in the corporate world, then become married and start an family. The life I had planned to live was not as was what it ended up being. It was the money and status of my job was not what I wanted to be. It was as if I was wasting my time and energy for the opportunity to earn a salary. I possessed a passion for working out and I enjoyed being social and helping others as I navigated towards this path. I found my calling in private training. In 2014, I launched my own small business. My company is celebrating its seventh anniversary in 2021. Few Asian women are employed in this field. My goal is to be a change maker in the industry to provide the best coaching and guidance to help individuals to be healthier and happier by designing healthy and sustainable living that caters to your personal goals and requirements. Furthermore, I want people to be empowered to follow their dreams and achieve anything they would like to achieve in life. My mother's passing that occurred while my career began to gain momentum and I suffered the biggest loss in my entire life. Following an 8-year battle for a condition called Scleroderma, she's currently resting at Heaven. I will never forget her, and always remember her in my mind and my heart. Life really does have a way with giving us the exact thing we need, even if we are unable to recognize the lesson at the moment. There are many ways that my mother's passing changed me. I honestly believe that she provided me with another chance to grieve her passing. She passed away on Tet/Lunar New Year Day it was the time to embark on her new journey and allow me to receive a second chance to live the most happy, joyful and purposeful life. In my 30s I'm feeling a sense of living and being alive. It's not like that I'm just a mere existence anymore. My life is open to the public so that I may share with those who read my blog with words and experiences. This can help you realize that you're not on your own. You are capable of anything if you put your thoughts to the task. Therapy is natural and important. Health is one of the best wealth. In the end, death is all that we can have, I hope you enjoy living your life to the fullest and leave with no regrets.
